Stemedix Review: John C. (Crownsville, MD)

Believing that I probably had a medial miniscus tear in my left knee, my Active Release Technique (ART - a physical therapy performed while soft tissue is put through a normal range of motion) medical provider recommended I obtain a MRI to confirm. Confirmed by MRI, my orthopedic surgeon, given the lack of arthritis in my knees, recommended I quit running and switch to another form of exercise, since continuing to run with or without surgery would result in the development of arthritis in my left knee. Instead, I sought the umbilical cord stem cell therapy recommended by a fellow runner. Hence, I contacted Stemedix and explained my history and present condition to Sarah, one of their patient care specialists, including my desire to also receive help with recovering from multiple concussions. I was told that stem cell therapy would likely result in healing of the tear and concussions, so I received and signed medical release documents. Stemedix physicians reviewed the Xrays and MRIs a
